NFL Alumni Association – Philadelphia Chapter has established an outreach hotline for former players and their families who might need social and emotional support and more. They have appointed two counselors to serve in an official capacity as Chaplains for the Philadelphia Chapter. On behalf of the Philadelphia Chapter, both chaplains, Lee Woodall and Dave Piltz, will take calls from alumni and their families for emotional and spiritual support and guidance in response to not only the pandemic but for other times of need. These gentlemen are there to provide encouragement and support to individuals dealing with social and emotional issues, dealing with crisis in their lives and in their communities, or dealing with the loss of a loved one.
“As part of the NFL Alumni community, honoring wellness can look very different for many people. It is our hope that those who need help can comfortably reach out to myself or Piltz for an informal conversation on ways to deal with these issues and find support,” comments Lee Woodall, President, NFL Alumni – Philadelphia Chapter. To reach either Lee or Piltz, send a text to, Lee at (267) 800-5745 or Piltz at (844) 883-0118.
