DISABILITY BENEFITS
A former player may be entitled to a Line of Duty (“LOD”) disability payment if that player incurs a “substantial disablement arising out of NFL football activities.”

NFL LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE PLAN
NFL Long Term Care Plan began in 2011. It was recognized that providing long term care coverage to eligible retired players could deliver important financial assistance when players experienced the inevitable effects of aging.
